December 2010 - Purchased Kellenberger Kel-Vista Grinder to increase CNC Cylindrical Grinding Capacity.
December 2010 - Upgraded CNC Gear Inspection to a retrofitted M&M 3515 with capabilties to measure Internal and external spur and helical gears, bevel, spiral bevel, worms, worm gears, and cutting tools.
Octobr 2009 - Phase IV and Phase V relocation are complete. All office personnel and lathes have been moved to Peekskill facility and are under power. Relocation to Peekskill is complete.
September 2009 - Phase II and Phase III relocation are complete. All milling and toolroom machinery has been moved to Peekskill and are under power.
August 2009 - Phase I relocation complete. All gear cutting equipment and grinding machines have been moved to new facility and are under power.
July 2009 - GMT has passed registration audit for the AS 9100 Rev. B standard.
April 2009 - GMT installed new Mitsubishi ST 40 CNC Gear Shaper at the new Peekskill facility. This machine will allow GMT the ability to shape internal and external helical gears as well as increase capacity in the gear cutting department.
March 2009 - GMT has acquired a 27,000 Square Foot Facility in historic Peekskill, NY to expand its facilities. The new facility will allow GMT to continue to grow as a world class gear manufacturer.
