Gear Grinding
GMT can gear grind internal and external gears. Our NILES ZE 400S is state of the art equipment capable of producing AGMA class 14 gears. We are able to use dressable wheel technology as well as diamond CBN wheels for higher production quantities.
We can grind individual left and right flank profile modifications. On board measuring allows the accurate correction of any defect to streamline the production process. We are able to grind spur, crowned, helical, cluster & internal gears, splined shafts, pistons, high speed shafts, and bull gears.
We also have dedicated off line CNC gear inspection equipment to verify gear quality apart from the on board inspection.
We offer gear grinding only services to our customers as well as complete part-to-print manufacturing.
